working out

Posted By Divatude ~ Dec 29, 2009 6:57AM

I've been traveling and enjoying my holiday time with family & friends. I have not had the chance to write updates in regards to working out. I think when I get back on schedule I'll no longer do my 30 mile per week runs. I'm losing too much weight. We will see, I'll modify it later.

Peace & Love

Week #4 114 miles! & my quest for clearer skin

Posted By Divatude ~ Dec 4, 2009 7:51AM

Hey Divas!

There are many ways to encourage yourself to keep pushing along with your exercise routine, mine has been photos. I guess it's the incentive that only a camera or a mirror can capture. I don't really do that cheat day, I view them as teases. Instead I just have a constant diet --- with minimal restrictions. I love food. I eat well and grill or bake most of my meals. This week will make exactly 114 miles ran since I started in November-- where is my Apple Juice to celebrate?

I feel that keeping a journal is really motivating me! I mean if I leave a week without updates it's like ooo noo, I've failed my potential readers. I think it is funny actually. I remember telling a friend I must run my 6 miles--- I can't lie to my journal, Divatude.

I'll be practicing the same technique as I embark on my journey to clearer skin. I'll try to photograph comparison shots and my problem areas as well.

Peace , Joy, & all things Sparkly,

December runs

Posted By Divatude ~ Dec 2, 2009 12:58PM

The third week was indeed the toughest week for me when it came to running. It was Thanksgiving-- enough said. I ran about 2/5 days that week of my scheduled runs. It has been getting colder but I've been relentless and unyielding. I am determined to not give up! I am entering WEEK 4 , YAY. It has been great. I have ran 102 miles thus far, if you include today ! It's been a long journey and my body has been "through" it all.

My knee is sort of still tender :-/

I discuss some advice on my youtube channel, ebokosia.
